Return Policy

CCTV Best Buys requires that all returned items have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number assigned by a customer service representative before shipping merchandise. To obtain an RMA number, please contact us via email or by calling 844-488-2288 and provide all relevant information including order number, reason for return and the serial numbers of the products being returned. An RMA number will then be issued by CCTV Best Buys and shall remain valid for ten (10) days. Products shipped after the expiration date shall be refused.

A refund or credit shall be issued for returned non-defective merchandise within 30 days of purchase minus shipping costs for delivery for all orders shipped within the US or Canada. Orders shipped outside of the US or Canada are returnable for warranty-related issues only. Orders in transit that are cancelled by the buyer are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Restocking fees will charged for all opened, non-defective merchandise being returned. Fees will be based on the condition of the item, original packaging, and included accessories and start at 15% of the purchase price. Axis products are not returnable regardless of condition. Hard drives of any manufacturer are not eligible for refunds; they will be replaced by the manufacturer with new or refurbished units only. After the 30 day period, defective products being returned will be replaced with same product only or sent to the manufacturer for repair. If the product is found to be non-defective, an evaluation fee of 10% per unit or $60 (whichever is less) will be charged. Returned merchandise must be factory sealed as originally delivered. Charges will be applied for any missing items or damaged packaging.

The customer is responsible for freight costs on all return shipments. CCTV Best Buys is not responsible for any customs, duties, taxes and other freight charges due with shipping. Returns shipped without proper approvals or handled outside of normal procedure will be refused. Any deviation from these policies will result in product being refused. CCTV Best Buys’ return policy does not cover physical damage to merchandise during shipment. Cartons visibly damaged in transit must be refused by the customer and given to the carrier for return to CCTV Best Buys for freight claim processing.

CCTV Best Buys reserves the right to require the customer to return goods directly to the manufacturer or distribution warehouse located in the United States of America or Canada for replacement.

 

Warranty Policy

All warranties on products purchased from CCTV Best Buys are provided by the manufacturer. CCTV Best Buys, its officers, employees and/or agents, makes no warranty or representation, written or oral, expressed or implied, regarding the performance, applicability or merchantability of any product sold by CCTV Best Buys. CCTV Best Buys shall assist in validating claims under applicable warranties. Purchasers requesting to return defective product to CCTV Best Buys must comply with the policies set forth for return shipments or returns may be refused or partial credit given.

 

Claims

Claims for defective or incorrect merchandise or for any other purpose shall be considered waived by the customer unless made in writing within seven (7) days after receipt of the goods. All claims must specifically identify the nature of all circumstances surrounding the claim and must be accompanied by receipt or copy of sales order. Any purchase and delivery not disputed in a timely manner shall be paid for by the customer and all amounts due shall be paid by the customer within the terms specified. As a condition to making a claim for missing or damaged goods, the customer agrees to initiate and pursue claims against appropriate carrier for items not received or damaged in shipment.

 

Liability

Liability of CCTV Best Buys shall be limited to replacement or repair of defective products in accordance with the Return Policy outlined herein. Under no circumstances shall CCTV Best Buys be liable for consequential or any other damages whatsoever, related to the procurement, use, installation or application of the products sold by CCTV Best Buys. Under no circumstances shall the liability of CCTV Best Buys exceed the amount paid by the purchaser for the products sold or $250.00, whichever is less. The customer further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless CCTV Best Buys, its shareholders, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all claims, losses, legal actions, damages, penalties, costs or obligations of any kind whatsoever relating to the actions or inactions of the customer.

 

Governing Law

The terms and conditions outlined herein shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.

 

What cannot be returned?

Please note that the following items may not be returned:
• Software, Discontinued items, Special Order items, Refurbished items, B-stock and Consumables
• Items for which manufacturers will not accept returns
• Items not purchased from CCTV Best Buys
• Items which have undergone revisions without being assigned a new part # by the manufacturer
